Your hair looks great the way it is now. I wouldn't get a HT at this point, but that's my opinion.
-
Very impressive!!! Looks very natural!!
-
Carry floss in your purse. No reason to pull your hair out.
-
I understand getting anxious.
-
You shouldn't be pulling your hair out period.
-
No, I have never pulled my hair out for any reason.
-
O.k, I don't get the comment "but before when my hair was healthy i could just pull out a hair for fun." That isn't fun.
-
I appear to be having the loss from the back of my head, not the recipient area. It just kinda had me worried when I'm washing my hair and I am seeing more then normal hair loss! lol
Thanks for the advice! =)

Why would you want to pull your hair out?!?
-
Hair keeps falling out for 1-2 months?? How does anyone have any hair left?? l
-
I just thought of this question...how long does the hair continue to fall out in shock loss??
-
I guess in general.

Is using Aloe Vera normal to use post op? I only ask cause I am post op and haven't used it yet. Am I supposed to?
-
O.k, thank you both. I'm glad this is normal...as weird as that sounds. lol
-
But the loss isn't in the recipient area, it is in the back of my head.
I thought maybe shock loss, but I guess I didn't know it would happen this soon.
Thank you for talking with me about this!

Have you consulted with a doctor?
-
O.k, I am post-op day #5 and I have noticed more then normal amount of hair loss while washing my hair. Yes I have been very careful and am using baby shampoo. I have not noticed any hair loss on my pillow when I wake up, just in the shower and a little when I am combing my hair. Why???
-
Was that the only time someone detected your HT?
-
I will keep everyone in my thoughts and prayers daily.

Hi Rich,
My procedure went well, thank you. It was a very long day and I was happy to get home! Only part that was painful was my back from laying in that chair all day! lol
I have been washing my hair very carefully and gently. I am too scared to comb my hair in the recipient area....don't want to damage anything!
I have staples so that area still hurts and is sore/tender. I can't wait for them to be removed next week!
I wonder how soon my scalp will start to look somewhat normal?
I can't post pics yet as my laptop is being repaired for hardware issues and won't be back for 2 weeks. =(

Hello,
I am a 34y/o woman who very recently (this past Monday) had a HT.
My advice is research, research and more research. Read different forums on this site. Keep asking questions. Everyone on this site has been very helpful and informative.
I would also recommend consulting with a few doctors before making any decisions.

Thank you!!

Can't decide,
Thank you!
Orlhair1,
Thank you as well! They will come out a week from Thursday. I can't wait for everything to get back to normal. Even washing my hair. I was so afraid and paranoid I was going to damage the recipient area! lol
