Please name a few surgeons who have the best results with fixing and recreating hairlines

So I have had a FUE 6 weeks ago and a FUT surgery before that.The FUT gave me a long wide scar from ear to ear. I have noticed that for my recent FUE surgery, no hair was taken from the area just above my FUT scar which I am assuming is to help cover up the FUT scar. So would I be correct to say if I fill up my FUT scar I potentially have more hair from right above the scar to transplant in a future FUE?

It would seem a waste of if I use scalp hairs to fill up the scar so I should be using body hair to FUE into my FUT scar? Which part of body would be right to extract hairs for my FUT scar?

Hi all, im abit worried. I had my HT done 15days ago and I have already had so much hair drop out with the scabs between day 10-15 that some areas of my new hairline already look so bare. Is this normal?

It was just a couple drinks, nothing crazy and thus no hangover or anything like that.

So I had couple drinks today and my HT are in 3days time..I know they say no alcohol 7days before surgery because of blood thinning but I made a mistake. Do you guys thing I will be ok for surgery in 3days time??

Anyone out there ever consider to buy Avodart online and take it instead of Propecia. The clinical trials on Avodart shows much more hair growth than Propecia so it should be better. Any ideas on using Avodart?

If you find that you're allergic, drop the dosage to 3 tablets a week. That's how many I have. You'll be fine.

Let me clarify something, I have a bald crown with about 10 follicular units per cm2 right now. I don't want to miss out on the opportunity to regrow any hair possible on the crown. I know alot of people take 1mg propecia everyday for one year then drop down to 1mg three times a week. So, my thought process is that during the first one year they are trying to rescue those hair that were going to be lost forever and also maintain the hair still there. So. please advise me what you guys think is the lowest frequency/dosage I could take and still take advantage of trying to regrow some hair. It will be really great to hear from those of you that have grown hair while taking finasteride/propecia. Thanks again!!

Hey guys, I been on Propecia 1mg for the past 2months and the past few weeks, my facial skin and neck skin has started becoming extremely dry, peeling and it's itching alot. I am trying not to scratch but sometimes it's just hard to control. I have experimented and these symptoms are easier to manage when I take the propecia less frequently. Some people might say that I am allergic to propecia and I need to stop taking it. But, I really treasure my hair and want to keep them from falling. So, after how many weeks of 1mg propecia everyday do you guys think it is safe to reduce my propecia dosage to 1mg three or four times a week instead of everyday. Keep in mind, I would like to gain as much benefit from this drug for my hair loss possible. Thanks for all your advise everyone!!

So, who do you guys think are the top 3 doctors for HT on females especially when they want to strengthen their hairline and temples?

My crown is really bald like 5-10 follicle-units per cm2, and I just started taking propecia today. So, my question is what kind of growth on average in terms of follicle-units per cm2 do you guys estimate I can get from propecia at this stage of hairloss. Also, how many months from today, will I start noticing some of that growth? Thanks guys!!

I am one month post-HT and was wondering when is it safe to get a haircut. Not all of my grafts have fallen off yet so I definitely do not want to damage them. But my hair everywhere else is really long. So, when do you guys think it is safe to get a haircut without damaging the new grafts that have not shed as of yet?

Thank you for your quick response. Is it normal to see shedding as early as 13 days? And let's say this is considered as the grafts shedding already, how long before all my new grafts will all be completely shed (rough estimate)?

I had my HT about 13days ago and I have my scabs falling off now. But, in some of the scabs that fall off, I see hair attached to the scabs. Are these hair grafts from my HT that did not adhere to my scalp properly?? I am so worried..any advice on this will be great.

Let's say if I have used up all my donor for the strip method and have already obtained 6,000 grafts..how much more can I get from FUE?

So I have been doing my research but not sure how to calculate the total number of follicle units I could have for all the possible transplants I decide to do? Assuming I have average doner density and laxity.

I was told people have anywhere from 4,000 to 8,000 follicle units and 6,000 being the average. But how do they get to these numbers. Is it the number of follicle units per cm2 x Area of total strip area?

Also, with average laxity, how much total strip can one cut out for all possible hair transplants?

What about the fact that he is also a practising dermatologist..the general opinion on this forum seems to be that we shouldnt go to hair transplant doctors who are also dermatologist, but instead look for a full-time hair transplant doctor?

What about Dr Griffin from Atlanta. He is a coalition member yet he is also known to be a good dermatologist.

No..........not aware of anyone that I can recommend. You may have to leave the state to find what you are looking for.

Any recommendations for strip in Atlanta?
