    Hi guys. It has been nearly 4 years post op from 1st transplant and 13 months post op 2nd transplant. I haven't been on the forum for a while as hair loss doesn't bother me anymore. I have an great head of hair and I think I am set for many years to come. Have reduced fin to M-W-F the past 3 months. No change in hair quality or increase in hair loss. Still stable on the reduced dosage. Will be visitng asmed in the near future for official clinic photos.

    Thanks for the valuable posts. Quick question where did you get your hair systems. I am in CA right now can you recommend any good places to get hair piece? Also I have very good hair sides and back but I lost hair on my crown and temple areas. Can we order custom pieces only to cover temple areas ??

    Hi All,

     

    I never used propecia or fin earlier. I am losing my hair a lot from past 2 years. So I saw a couple of posts online and decided to take Finsatride. I am in India and when I went to get cipla Finastride tablets the Pharmacist insisted not to take them as they have lot of side effects decreasing male potency . Is that true please let me know ??

    Hi All,

     

    I want to know best ht surgeon around CA or WA states. I had my first Hair transplantation in 2011 in India by Madhu...I just had HT to my Temple areas at that time..The results are great but I am loosing lot of hair from last 1 year so I decided to go for second HT. I have very good donor area..

     

    Please suggest good surgeons and how much would it cost for HT in USA

    Both FUE and FUSS (a better, more-accurate name for FUT) are "hair transplants."

     

    FUSS (follicular-unit strip surgery) cuts out a section of the back of your head and then implants those follicles in the recipient area. FUE (follicular-unit extraction) pulls individual follicles out of the back of your head with a tweezer and removes them to the recipient area one at a time and without removing a section of your scalp.

     

     

    so is FUE costlier that FUT ?

    Without pictures I don't know for sure but I can guess that it appears normal to others. I didn't even recognize my own hair loss until a while after the process started. If I didn't know, i'm thinking others didn't know either. You have to lose a lot to appear balding. The harsh lights in bathrooms make it appear pretty bad, but unless your eyes focus on top for more than a brief second you won't notice.

    Even a hair transplant appears thin under harsh lighting, but in most situations it appears like a full head of hair.

    Try some concealer if it bothers you. If you are thinning, maybe consider some preventative measures.

    Hi All,

     

    Usually my hair looks good in normal light but in harsh light, bright lights in rest rooms it looks like I hardly have hair on top...so my general question is how does my hair appear to others ...like in bright light or it appears normal day light view...?

    Hey guys. 1 year since the surgery. Some pics I took today.

     

    Also, 1 year on Tugain and Finax. Havn't noticed or experienced any side effects, so would continue with it, for as long as I can.

     

    Having Green tea everyday also helps your hair i guess. It's definitely helped get rid of the tummy fat though :P. I've never looked more fitter. Very happy.

    Hi All,

     

    I am facing a bit difficulty in using Toppik . I ordered my first can of Toppick last week, After I apply it to my hair and when I touch my hair I could see my fingers turn black..Is there any way to make the fibers fixed with out getting it on to the fingers

     

    Same is the case with Dermatch
