  1. you should be taking propecia before your transplant and most definetely after

the main fact it will slow down your hairloss or completely stop it. I'm shocked your asking this question after your HT as any reputable doctor would ask you to take it beforehand

edit : this is your second HT?

Hi mlc, yes this is my second transplant first one came in very good. praying to god the second one comes in good as well as I recently had it done. The doctor never told me to take it before, but after I got the procedure. I didn't ask many questions so I really don't know to much about propecia if its really worth taking.

I would really appreciate if you guys can answer my questions.

    Thanks

  2. Hey, I just had a hair transplant done I'm thinking about taking propecia. I have a some questions.

How long will it take for my hair to become fuller on propecia?

Will hair in my crown and front become thicker also will I experience new growth of hairs lost in the last couple of years?

How many months of talking it will I start to notice a huge difference?

Will propecia make my recently transplanted hair grow in thicker?

What are the side effects and how serious are they?

one thing I would like to add my sex life is very important to me. Would this be a problem with propecia?

Last question how often and for how long should I take propecia is every other day ok?

  3. Okay this is totally guess work but say you had 300 grafts front which could be doable maybe but the crown at 2k hmmmm thats hard to work out given grafts look spaced apart. ...again. I could be wrong & dont mean to worry you in anyway, its just my opinion & I'm no doctor just a regular john doe.

Many others can chime in & see what they have to say.

Hi Ontop, I just spoke to my doctor and the total number of grafts is 1780, I thought my doctor put 2300 because before the procedure the doctor told be that's what they did last time.

Does 1780 grafts make sense judging by my pictures?

Thanks for your feedback ontop. I'm going to have to have a talk with my doctor tomorrow. I would appreciate some more opinions especially from doctors.

  5. Hi, the following are pictures 6 days after my second hair transplant. I would like to get some opinions on what you guys think about the density of the newly transplanted hair.

I had both the front and back done.

Do you guys think my result will be full and thick or is the density to far apart?

Please note: All these pics are 6 days after the hair transplant I just had done.

  6. Hi

i had a hair transplant done 7 months ago and still see allot of baby hairs and there is still some new growth that needs to come in i was wondering if i jump on a 2 month cycle of steroids testostorne enanthate will this prevent my hair transplant from reaching its full potential ?

Some one please answer this question

    Thanks

  7. results82,

Those fine hairs should continue to mature and thicken over time. You've still got at least 5 more months of growth to come and the texture of transplanted hairs can continue to improve even up to 18 months.

I recommend photographing your hair on a monthly basis. This will help you to really see the subtle changes happening over time.

    Good luck,

Thanks do you know what percent of growth is the norm for 7 months in and percent of 10 months in ? i would appreciate i f you can give me an estimate

also is there any shampoo or anything i can use to help the transplant progress faster ?
