  1. Hello Group,

First, I would like to give my condolences to Dr. Limmer's family. I was able to have the pleasure of meeting and having work performed by him and his staff in the past and I have absolutely no complaint about the HT I received.

What I would like to know is if anyone has had any experience with the new Dr. Krejci that now operates the Limmer practice?

I searched the best I could and didn't really find too many results. If anybody would be willing to share, I would appreciate it.

  2. That's a big improvement. Guys, graft counts can be deceptive. Sometimes 1600 grafts doesn't sound like a lot, but he could have had a high number of 3s which give better coverage.

Zack, not to be a stickler, but it's "grafts" not "graphs." A common mistake people make...

You are so right about grafts. I didn't even realize it. HAHA

  3. I do think that Dr. Limmer placed more than 1600 graphs. I was very happy to see the results that I got from him especially after only six months. I'm hoping that it will produce more in the later six months.

Spanker: In your personal opion do you think I will need to get more graphs in the future?

NewHairPlease: He did not plant any graphs in the crown area. He said that I should use rogain, H&S Shampoo, Biotin, And propecia as treatment. Which I am happy to say that I responded very well to.

  4. My first transplant was done by Dr. Frayser in Tulsa, OK. 800 graphs .( I don't recommend this doctor).

My second one was done by Dr. Limmer in Texas. 1500-1600 graphs. I am currently at 6 months post Op with the Limmer transplant. (I recommend this guy)!

I would be happy to hear any and all comments.

I am also using the recommended treatment from Dr. Limmer.

    Biotin 5000mcg

    Head and Shoulders shampoo

    Rogain

    Propecia

  5. Just to answer a few of you. I did not join the forum to put HTC business on the net. If you noticed RCwest I did not even mention my doctors name until I was asked. As for the rest of you I agree that I will need more done to get the look I want and thanks for all the advice. I will post more pics as I progress.

  6. I decided to go with a lower graph count first due to my age (25). The reason for the lower count is that the doctor and I are not sure on what the extent of my baldness will be, so we want to use my donor hair as carefully as we can in this early of a stage. I do plan on having more done after I see the results of this procedure (In 8 months to a year or so).

As for washing I am using baby shampoo (not scrubing) just putting it on and using a cup of water to rinse.

    Thank you

  7. I just received 800 graphs. I wanted to share with the forum and get some feedback. I am a 25 year old male so I decided to go with 800 graphs. I was hoping an experinced HT patient could give me any helpfull advice on post care and what to expect in the up coming months or year. Here are a few pics. One other thing when it comes to any type of head wound I am a bleeder so getting all that out on day 1 was fun!
