  1. Konior or Shapiro in the U.S, I was able to see one of Dr. Shapiros FUE cases live at a work shop, my jaw dropped, never would of guessed this guy had any work. Konior, well what can say about Konior that hanse been said, Pristine ultra refined work and a great person that is a straight shooter. Good luck

  2. Never heard of her, but if your gut is to go with Dr. Konior... than stick with your gut and wait out the year for him, he's awesome. Dont let local docs limit your choices on such a important decision. If you really dont want to travel far I would also highly suggest Dr. Ron Shapiro in minnesota, class act top notch. But whatever you do, do not settle on someone just cause they are easier to get in with.

  3. Where do you put Dr Lupanzula in that order given that he is one of the few docs who does most of his work and not heavy involvement from the techs.

    Palma,

Dr. Lupanzula does great work and I like the more difficult cases he takes on. Of course him being so involved in the surgery is huge plus, he's just not a surgeon I have been following closely. My recommendations are just personal preference from past experiences with those clinics, Dr. Lupanzula is a fine surgeon.

  4. not sure how many u have left but make sure you go to a trusted clinic, not one that will promise you more than is possible. With that said I would go Konior, Shapiro in the sates and if you travel i would look at Bisagna, Maras and Lorenzo. I am really impressed with Lupanzula lately. Please take your time and make the most of your remaining grafts. Like Spanker said, let your HT grow out first before jumping the gun.

  5. I will have to say that if it properly done with the right game plan for the patient, it is close to undetectable. Remember all surgeries leave scarring so no matter if you do FUE or FUSS you will have a scar. With that being said when you style your hair and go out its undetectable but if you were to ever shave your head you have to remember there are marks from the surgery. There're also other indicators of someone having an HT that only we may see as we obsess over this topic (i.e super strong hair line with receding temples). Once again a good doc and a good plan make the difference.

Everyone will always want to have more hair (hair greed), but once again if its done right you will have great long standing results. I was lucky enough to pick a great doctor that gave me a great plan and 10 years after my HT i have not worried about my hair loss. I still get compliments on my hair to this day. I am still younger and I know i will need multiple surgeries as i will have more hair loss. But once again i chose one of the best docs there is and had a great game plan. I have not had any people look at my hair weird or any "mis aligned" grafts. Hope this helps, do research you are at the right place

  6. Not in any particular order,

Erdogan (still get uneasy about how many available grafts are being quoted but amazing work)

Lorenzo (overall wow results but pricey)

Maras (pristine clean work time and time again, just unsure how any docs are involved in procedure)

Shapiro (Ron) (Still the best hairlines in the world in my opinion and genuinely cares about his patients)

Bisanga (super super ethical vibe from emails and reputation in industry)

Konior (Clean superb work and is involved in all steps of the procedure)

  7. I had 2000 grafts spanker in 2007, my first SMP treatment was in 2013 and my "touch up" was in 2015. I have meant to go back to continue my touch ups and follow their protocol/suggested treatment but i could not due to work. SMG suggested me to come back a month after my session for a touch up to perfect the look and then for the final touch up a month after that. I think this is more due to the fact that I had SMP in the thin strip scar and the ink may be unpredictable and/or need more applications. I wish I could go back but i cant cause of work and life. SMG has always taken care of me and I feel very lucky to have found them when i did. Once again thanks SMG.
