  1. Naurto,

Do you mean to say that, in about another ten years,if a miracle drug could be found, what could that be?

could it be NEOSH101, as HLBD quoted nicely in a post under "News on NEOSH101"

If that would be,then would there be any need for HT? What about present HT candidates?Should wait for another ten more

years? Supposing hari is 20, because he fears HTs,waiting until his 30s,can he really achieve what he did expect?

And when the drug comes to life, there won't be a need to put in lakh and lakh of money for HTs,Right..??

What is ur opinion? [And personally I would not want to go for any HTs! I too expect in the same way as you do,

I wonder if that would happen!!]

    ThickerHair.

  2. Thanks,HLBD and Badger, that was worth browzin ur info Guys..!

    quote:

A company called Neosil is in Phase 2b of clinical trials of a topical that they claim is effective against MPB - they have already shown efficacy over a short period of only 14 days. The Phase 2b trials are to last longer and prove long term efficacy. This could be the next treatment we have available in the next 2 to 3 years, should it prove effective and safe. I have seen nothing of how this topical is supposed to work, its side effects, or even what it is, so I cannot tell you how much stock to put into the company's claim. However, it is encouraging to see that this is their lead compound for development (so is AndroScience's compound, but it is first to be tested against its efficacy in acne treatment) and is the only implication for the development is MPB.

    HLBD,

Do u mean to say that in another 2 or 3 years, if what u quoted above comes to life, there will be no transplantation..??

can the topic alone do wonders..?

Also,I have a general doubt,as If HM comes to implementation, what could be to FUT..? Will it be considered minisqual ..? Or its popularity come down..? Can people still go for it..?

    Thanks,Thicker..

  3. Dear Aquarius,

If u would recommend Dr.Cutmydicov. to me,Could U please be more detailed about him..?

What methods of HTs ( like FUT,FUE etc.,) he is right now doing? Also quote about The cost,Quality etc,if Y know about any of them..!

I can't afford to go to places even inside India like Mumbai,Delhi ..and so on!!!

I am presently in TamilNadu..I am finding a good surgical clinic in near city Bangalore..That is the reason why I usually query

    about clinics in Mysore,Bangalore..

    Please do help..

Thanks for all Ur constant support,ThickerHair..

  4. cornelius,

As you say,If 6000 grafts are needed,to give fuller look of hair, will his donor area support as per the need?

Can it yield that much of grafts to harvest at one pass..???

And Generally,is it possible for people ( NW5-6 ) to yield an amount of donor grafts like 10000 FU and more..?

    If yes,how..?In what way..?

  5. Hai Guys,

This might be an unanswerable question,I put this forth to you guys though.

Well..I know it is against the purpose of HT,if a man goes for an HT, with no/extremely limited donor hair supply.

Then what could be the choice for him? Can't he ever achieve his goal..?

When I question as it is above,I mind the people with ALOPECIA UNIVERSALIS which is the extreme stage of alopecia areata..

[please refer the thread given below]

Note: Answers like, using a hairpiece or toupee could be avoided..I would like to get answer relating to HT..

If it can't produce any result,Then WHAT COULD BE THE ALTERNATIVE..???

Thanks a lot Guys for all your instantaneous help,ThickerHair..!

  9. Dear Guys,

After Donor site is prepared for harvast, the surgeon strips the donor skin, dissects and implants them in recipient area.

    right?

Now my question is,he strips the donor area expecting about 2000 grafts..But what can may be happen is 2200 or something like

that..So when the amount exceeds like this, what would happen to other 200 grafts..Is it going in vain?

Or to put it in other way,how does physician precisely prepare the amount of grafts.?

    Thanks a lot,Thicker
