I am 17 years old. I first noticed hair loss a few years ago. now my hairline is receding very far. i am shocked at how bad it is. i haven't found the courage to talk to anybody about it. my mother knows about my hair loss and she does mention it from time to time, telling me to go to a dermatologist. i don't think the knows the extend of my hair loss. my hair has always been a problem. it is sometimes very oily and there are small white bits, usually stuck to the end of a hair that has fallen out. i don't use any hair loss products. my hair is currently of medium length, so i can cover it up a bit. please share your thoughts, i would appreciate some advice on how to stop my hair loss, and possibly to restore my hairline.
