Regular Member dietolive Posted July 3, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted July 3, 2008 I was browsing the Internet and stumbled upon (liteally, using Stumble Upon) a neat site and and interesting article about fat stem cells and how they mimic fetal stem cells. The article also mentions the use of stem cells for hair transplants (also mentions this forum!) http://superfantasticplastic.blogspot.com/2008/07/is-fa...plastic-surgery.html Really like the site too - kind of a mixture of gossip column and cosmetic surgery info. site. They also have an article about an article in a men's magazine being wrong and mention this site: http://superfantasticplastic.blogspot.com/2008/07/mens-...ports-incorrect.html

Regular Member Davis Posted June 23, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted June 23, 2010 does this blogger have any sources we can use to verify all of these claims? I would like to read up some more on how fat cells can be used for hair First transplant with karamikian 6/05, less than 1000 to my hairline, result was mediocre at best. 2nd HT with Feller 2/08, 3000+ to my front third. Senior Member Sean Posted September 13, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted September 13, 2010 This is the first time I have heard of this. Couldn't really find other sites discussing it. But I did come across some other site in the process talking about how military field dressing applied onto stitches can help shrink the scar to a very fine line that is hardly detectable. Could it be helpful with strip surgeries? I don't know but it could help.
Senior Member Speegs Posted February 15, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted February 15, 2011 This article is behind, i don't know why people still talk about embryonic stem cells when it's been proven adult stem cells achieve every single thing an embryonic stem cell can without wading into controversial bio-ethic waters.
