Ears (Helix) Sticking out after Hair Transplant

Have anyone noticed their ears after hair transplant? Top portion of my ear (helix) which is close to the sideburn is sticking out (away from head). Everyone noticed in my family this type of change. I think this is because of the sutures at the donor site and once sutures are removed ears will be back to normal.

Hey Omviki,

Since you just had your transplant 2 days ago I think what you're experiencing is typical post op swelling. I experienced something similar with my ears on the 3rd day post op. The swelling and ear "sticking out" should subside in a few days.

All the best.

Heard of this and underlying swelling is cause. Take your meds and use icepack on the area to help. Will go back to normal.

A few days after surgery your head is going to be swollen, so you are not going to look right. There is nothing to worry about. It will all go back to normal shortly.
