Regular Member hawk Posted September 17, 2007 Regular Member Share Posted September 17, 2007 Hello Everyone, I have been contemplating a hair transplant for the last 3 years. Haven't done any sort of research lately (2 years), besides that I met Dr. Woods in Australia (2 years back) but was told that the results won't be 100%. So I did not go for it. I am willing to spend as much money as spent by Hollywood/Bollywood celebrities. I need a top class transplant with 100% guaranteed results. Can anyone help me so that I can start with the right kind of research with the information that is passed on to me? Thanks in Advance. 5700 Grafts, Dr. Hasson

Senior Member MrJobi Posted September 17, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted September 17, 2007 Hawk If you have the money to spend and the necessary patient characteristics ( donor hair, relatively bald, etc) you can and will probably get a superior result if you go to a top coalition doctor. It is a very good science these days and the final "product" is truly amazing.. Do some research, talk to people, and meet some as well as docs. Sally
Hawk, I did some research for my boyfriend that wanted to have a hair transplant. He had two procedures done in the eighties, and wanted one more shot at it. Well, I researched for him and found a Dr. Jeffery Epstein that has an office in New York City and in Miami, Florida. All the discussions I read about him on the boards had nothing but praise for him from guys that had a HT done by him. Many of the guys referred to him as a "world class surgeon". Then I went on his website and it was very impressive. Well, my boyfriend decided to go with Dr. Epstein. He is only in NY one day a month, so he flew to Miami, Florida. The results so far have been unbelievable! We are both very happy with the outcome! Dr. Epstein is not only an excellent surgeon, but an artist! You could barely even find the stitches, and the nurse that took them out said it was one long thread. She said she had never seen such meticulous work in all of her career. Dr. Epstein did something to the "plugs" he used to have, and now his hair looks completely natural. It is just starting to grow the new hair growth, but I told my BF, that if not one hair grew, it was well worth it, because it looks so much better than the way it looked before. Dr. Epstein even gives you his personal cell number so you can call him anytime after the procedure with any questions or concerns. You do go back to his office the next day, though for a hair wash. If you are looking for a top doc, I suggest you look at his website, I think you will be very happy.
Bill - Seemiller
Hawk, Everyone has given you some good advice. If you don't want to travel to meet with one of our coalition physicians, Dr. Jennifer Martinick is one our recommended physicians in Australia and performs quality follicular unit transplantation. Understand the difference between our coalition physicians and recommended physicians by clicking here. Personally, I feel that our coalition doctors are the best of the best as they perform ultra refined follicular unit transplantation. If you don't mind traveling, I believe the closest coalition physicians to you are Dr. Hasson and Dr. Wong. In the event that Europe is closer, you may want to consider consulting with Dr. Feriduni or Dr. Devroye. I hope this helps. Best wishes, Bill
