Senior Member HK500 Posted May 15, 2005 Senior Member Share Posted May 15, 2005 He performed 849 grafts on me about 1.5 years ago, he did an excellent job all around, very nice work on donor area scar, I can't wait to be able to afford the next (and hopefully final) session My Hair Loss Website - Hair Transplant with Dr. Siporin
zennism
is the scar visible..if you shave or is is approximated well..im looking to go shaven..so i NEED to get rid of this 1,2 cm scar..dr.straub is supposed to work well for this
Senior Member HK500 Posted May 17, 2005 Senior Member Share Posted May 17, 2005 The scar is visible only if you part the hair in that area and look closely, my hairdresser saw the scar but that's it. I don't know about Dr. Straub's skill in hiding scars but he has a very long experience of surgery and I remember him mentionning that he takes great pride in his "closing" of donor areas. Senior Member arfy Posted May 18, 2005 Senior Member Share Posted May 18, 2005 1.2 cm is usually about the height of the original donor strip, so it is unforgivable that your scar is also that size. You should try to get the original doctor to pay for scar revision surgery.
