Seems like it has to come from a recomendation, rather than falling for the "hype" that one gets from making an "appointment". thanks, love the site!!!! Guest Posted March 2, 2002 Share Posted March 2, 2002 This is just my $.02, but if you are going to go through all the trouble and expense of a HT, traveling is just a small part of it. I did not have a good surgeon in my home state either, so I had to travel a bit. Considering you will live with the results for the rest of your life, the extra cost of travel is not that significant. As far as choosing a surgeon, once you have narrowed it down, you should talk to some patients and view the results if possible. Of course, the surgeons listed on this site are a good place to start.
