Regular Member Andyman79 Posted September 17, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted September 17, 2009 Hi there, I was wondering if there is any evidence that the irritaion by the alcohol in minoxidil could be seen as a positive by increasing the blood circulation in the scalp? Could this increased circulation actually help stimulate the scalp making the treatment more effective? I do not confess to knowing a huge amount about hair loss but am keen to learn more. Look forward to your thoughts. Andy
Bill - Seemiller
Andyman, The topic of whether or not the propylene glycole in Rogaine liquid has any benefit for hair loss sufferers has been discussed heavily on this forum. I've heard arguments for and against it. A good place to start reading would be the discussion thread Rogaine Liquid verses Rogaine Foam. I and many others offer extensive input on this topic. Best wishes, Bill
