chel
with FUE what is the maximum amount of graphs they can harvest? I know it all depends on hair and loss etc etc but if you are a 52 year old with a front forelock and curly darkish hair with plenty of donor material and only balding in the frontal third how many can you expect and will it cover the frontal third? Who is best for this kind of work? I am considering Shapiro and Hasson and Wong purely for the amount of support they have and the quality of their work and their use of all new refinements such as leteral technique, tri closing method, and artistry. Is 3k enough for the frontal third? Please be direct. many thanks.

Senior Member Eman Posted September 18, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted September 18, 2009 H&W do not do FUE, I do not believe. I have not been around for several months, but they do awesome strip work. Shapiro does do FUE and I think he may be up to a little over 1000 per session. If you are looking for a larger session such as 3000+, you should possibly contemplate strip. Not knowing much about your level of hair loss it is hard to really say what you need, but 3000 is a very good sized session. My initial HT thread: done and done!! Check it out...
