Senior Member dhuge67 Posted December 4, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted December 4, 2008 Hey everyone, Second Lieutenant DiEugenio reporting as ordered. It's coming up on the 3 year mark since my hair transplant, and God knows, I could "use" another one. However, as a member of the military, with my hair cut so short, I'm going to hold off for a while longer. Here's my hair with it practically shaved (cut with a beard trimmer) and a little dermmatch thrown on... 1,614 with Dr. Pistone on 2/3/06 in Marlton, NJ. As long as the moon shall rise As long as the rivers flow As long as the sun shall shine And the grass will grow Let me listen, I will learn to speak The old language Yes, I yearn to bathe in blue skies And fall apart from the world of machines Regain my feet and my pounding heart My Hair Loss Weblog

Bill - Seemiller
dhuge, Thanks for giving us an update on your hair and thanks to you and others in the armed forced who serve our country well . If I recall correctly, you were considering Dr. Rahal for a hair transplant - are you still considering this in the future? Best wishes, Bill

I was previously considering a procedure with Dr. Feller and I still may go that route, but I want to wait as long as possible before undergoing another procedure. I am trying to wait out another year or more, but I'll see how things play out. 1,614 with Dr. Pistone on 2/3/06 in Marlton, NJ. Senior Member wylie Posted December 7, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted December 7, 2008 Head looks good shaved. Cant tell you had anything done in the front, and thats whats important. Of course, shaving ones head does expose the scar. If we could only find a way to make scar tissue disappear, we could all shave our heads. I would in a heartbeat if I didnt have all the scars I presently have, it would hide a botched job, as I found out about 2 months ago when I shaved mine. Head looked great shaved, but the back scars were way too many to keep it like that.I'd advise anyone to stick with FUE only if just starting to research a HT, in case you want to shave your head someday. Bill - Seemiller
dhuge, That's right, it was Dr. Feller. I agree with wylie that your head looks good shaved. There's certainly nothing wrong with waiting before jumping into the surgical chair. I trust you will be in great hands with Dr. Feller if he's who you select. Good to hear from you!
