Alcohol?

Is drinking alcohol safe after a HT? I’m one month postop.

I think so. The follicles are deeply connected to the blood supply at this point and are very much integrated into the scalp. My surgeon told me to wait a couple weeks and past that point it wouldn't be an issue.

That being said, I can understand the anxiety about whether it might somehow affect your results, so I'd try to minimize it if for no other reason than to lessen your anxiety.

I had a few drinks from 4-5 days post op. Didn’t effect the outcome. That being said, to err on the side of caution, would wait till after at least 3-4 days
