Best Place for Consultation Trichologist? 17 Months After FUE

Hi guys. Can anyone recommend a place to get a consultation to determine the state of my scalp?

I had FUE transplant in June 2023 (5000 grafts). By March 2024 I was really happy with results, but as the donar hair thickened, I started noticing x amount of hairs washing out when I shampooed it.

At first, I was hoping it was normal, maybe just the remaining native hairs still receeding out. But now it is definitely thinner, to the point where it is bothering me and I am wondering if I have any options to fix it. But I need to know what is happening.

Since the HT, I have had itching in scalp. During the regrowth phase, I was ok with this, believing it was just the new hairs coming through. But it is still itching a lot, so I think now it is probably inflammation. I also have had white head spots, like folliculitis, but hardly any. Maybe one here and there. I do not know if that is an issue or not.

Also, I am thinning on the front sides (more so one side). I had a consulation in Cardiff in October 2022 and they noticed this pattern and told me it could be the start of frontal fibrosing alopecia, but they said there was no sign of fibrosing and advised me to have a HT anyway because it could take decades to take effect.

In June 2023, I decided to go to Istanbul for HT as it was more affordable. when I asked them about potential FFA, they said the same, no sign of fibrosing and should go ahead with HT. So I did, and I believe they did a good job just because the results were so good at first. But the thinning is taking its toll and I am wondering what I can do about it. I could go back to istanbul, they were really impressive and I'd be happy to revisit. But I just need a consulation that will tell me exactly where I stand.

I have also considered going to Krakow as I know the area a little bit. I have friends there and been there several times this year. I have even had Lasik there and dental surgery as the NHS waiting list was 14 months. You should talk to your GP or if you already have a dermatologist, directly to him. They will point you in the right direction usually with a referral.

Additionally, maybe you can go see Dr. Bisanga.
