Are Dr. Dogan Turan and Dr. Gokhan Gur from the same clinic, or do they practice separately while collaborating through Fuecapilar?

In terms of hairline restoration, who is known for achieving the best results between Dr. Dogan Turan and Dr. Gokhan Gur?

Additionally, could someone provide details on their current waitlist times and pricelists for hair transplant procedures at their respective clinics?

Thank you for the clarification @Melvin- Admin. I just learned through this forum that Dr. Gur charges a fixed price of €3500 for up to 3200 grafts and he is actively involved throughout the entire surgery. Any idea the extent of Dr. Turan’s involvement during surgeries?

They are in different locations and clnics actually, but they both belong to FUE Capilar.

I have seen the following from the Assistant of Fue Capilar Jose Navarrete :

" Dr. Turan (who is one of the owners of FUECAPILAR) and Dr. Gur perform their surgeries in different locations,
 
Dr. Turan practice is located in the six floor of Avcilar Private Hospital in the district of Avcilar and Dr. Gur practice is located  in the district of Atasehir, Both locations are in Istanbul, Dr Turan is is in the European side and Dr Gur´s is in the asian side of Istanbul. "

@Ramin I just read about your surgery experience with Dr. Turan, and the hygiene standards at the clinic you mentioned sound quite concerning. Honestly, would you still recommend Dr. Turan?

Regarding Dr Turan´s involvement in the surgeries, Dr. Turan personally performs the implantation of each and every graft using the implanter pen. The extraction is performed by his extraction specialist using a mix methodology of manual and micromotor extraction. The price of the surgery depends on the number of grafts needed and how many days the surgery will be taking place (1 or 2 days).

I have a quick question. I noticed most of the hair transplants done by both of the doctors, the hairline is very high. Is it possible to get a lower hairline with Dr Gur and Dr Turan?

Hello @anon493,

There are several factors to consider when designing a hairline, amongst them the age of the patient, current hair loss, possible hair loss progression, usage of hair loss medication, etc. Lowering excessively the hairline will require the usage of a greater number of grafts which might be necessary in the future depending on the factors previously mentioned.
