Regular Member FewKale6856 Posted Tuesday at 01:23 PM Regular Member Share Posted Tuesday at 01:23 PM (edited) Putting all the information on the table: opinions in this forum, budget, proposal, video call with them, proposal (plan, method, number of grafts between 3,000-3,500, etc) i have narrowed my research until now to 4 surgeons: Dr. Michalis in Cyprus, Dr. Demirsoy, Dr. Ahmed Altan and Dr. Sahinoglu in Istanbul. All of them 1 patient per day, recognized surgeons, maybe not the most popular but with solid background and experience and not hair mills none of them. Additional information If you mention Fue Capilar, the reason why they are not here is because Dr. Turan want to reevaluate after 6 months of Finasteride and Dr. Gur suggested to to fix only the front with 2,500 grafts. I have seen a lot more of bad cases than mine being fixed with around 3000-3,500 grafts What would be your suggestion between these Dr's? Thank you very much! Regular Member Napoli Posted Thursday at 04:16 AM Regular Member Share Posted Thursday at 04:16 AM (edited) In Turkey you could consider good options for your hair transplant such as Dr Demirsoy, Dr altan Ahmed, Dr Resul Yaman, Dr Gur, Dr Turan and Dr Bekir. Dr michalis in Cyprus is a good option too. Edited Thursday at 04:16 AM by Napoli
Senior Member TrixGlendevon Posted Thursday at 06:44 AM Senior Member Share Posted Thursday at 06:44 AM To be honest, I do not like any of them. If it is because of cost, save more money and then do it. What NW are you? Without seeing pics, this is not an informed opinion but if there is a lot to cover then 3000-3500 is not a lot at all and just doing 2500 in the front may actually be the best strategy. If you are a high NW (4+), I imagine that the cases you have seen with good results on balder men went to better clinics than the ones in your list. Regular Member FewKale6856 Posted Thursday at 09:21 AM Author Regular Member Share Posted Thursday at 09:21 AM (edited) Because of logistics + budget, family situation, I could do this only in Cyprus, Turkey and maybe Thailand. I know there are some other good surgeons in Thailand too, but almost double more and to be really frank I did not see spectacular results that worth to spend almost double more. And actually I don't need spectacular results, just a normal, good, ethical procedure. I have diffuse thinning,so I could not fit any of the Norwood scale. If I was pretty bad, I think probably I would go to other drs maybe, but really I don't need Zarev to fix me lol. Prestigious Drs like Bicer suggests the same qty of grafts that could be extracted and give good density in the front and medium density /expanded crown. Senior Member TrixGlendevon Posted Thursday at 11:11 AM Senior Member Share Posted Thursday at 11:11 AM I would save more and then do it somewhere else to be honest, but that is just my opinion. If you are adamant it has to be those doctors in those three countries only, I am sure somebody will come along and give an opinion. Other people have commented but seem to be as lukewarm as I am to your shortlist.
Administrators Melvin- Admin Posted Thursday at 11:50 AM Administrators Share Posted Thursday at 11:50 AM There are good options in Thailand, Turkey and Cyprus. Bicer is an excellent and ethical surgeon. FUECapilar do good work check out @Myles23 HDC, is another excellent clinic. Laorwong, Ratchathorn, Path, and Kulakarn are all good options in Thailand. At the end of the day, you need to research and consult with these doctors yourself. There will always be opinions, but end of the day, this is your head, no one else’s. So make sure you’re the one doing the research. 1 I’m a paid admin for Hair Transplant Network. I do not receive any compensation from any clinic. My comments are not medical advice.
