KX-826 product is for sale on Amazon at a price of $69 for a 1-month supply. Made by Koshine Biomedica (China). It comes as a topical spray. There are no reviews or product ratings at the time of writing this post. The product description mentions that it is a dihydrotestosterone (DHT) blocker, and reduces sebum excretion and scalp oiliness.

Thougts? Another Cosmerna case? Saw some users on Reddit that started receiving their bottles.

Unfortunately it feels like another Cosmerna case. Already the phase 3 studies showed that this drug is ineffective at this dose.

The difference was not statistically significant but those given pyril had a positive trend (in non-vellus target area hair counts). I still wonder why the placebo group did so well.

Its a nonsteroidal antiandrogen and has a different mechanism of action to fin/dut (5AR inhibitors). I still think it could be useful to some as an adjunct.

The whole placebo group results is weird and I wonder if they mixed the placebo somehow or the power of the mind can grow hair.

In the Amazon page, they claim to reduce oiliness in 3 days so I guess it will be easy to check if it’s working or not.

They used false pics like CosmeRNA to make their advertising on Amazon (pics stolen from an HT clinic) but in Asia they use the real pics from trials... Perhaps they used a third party company to make advertising on Amazon .??..

Anyway, +22 hairs/cm2 is not so bad 🙂

I bought 2 bottles to try and see if I got sides or not using it.

The trials were a bust. Im not convinced of this working at all. I was hopeful about CosmeRNA. But I haven’t heard anything in months.

Yes. For what I understand (but I'm not sure) the phase II in china and the phase II in US have induced +10 and +22 hairs/cm2 with statistical significance compared to placebo group. But the last phase III induce also regrow but without statistical significance compared to placebo, because placebo group also got regrow... That's weird. So all the 3 tests induced regrow and better aesthetic, but the last one also in the placebo group  ... That's the problem ... Did someone have some explanation about that 🤔?

I'm just not a fan of this or CosmeRNA given that they forged the before and after photos. When taking a hormone altering medication, that is not really the trust I want to have in a company.

CosmeRNA is sh*t indeed, but how is it a hormone altering medication ?

It's supposedly just inhibiting AR in the hair follicles. You definitely don't want this going systemic.

I'm curious to know what was in the placebo and if the same ingredients were also in the real ComeRNA.
