Opinions on hair loss - HT?

Hi! I'm considering a HT but wanted your opinions. I'm 40, been on topical min/fin for 1.5 years, microneedling the past 6 months. Pics are attached.

A year ago, I got 2 FUE quotes:

Keeps (not planning on using them; just for reference)  said 2,200 - 2,500 grafts for ~$13k.

Eternal Hair in NJ said 2,000 grafts for $7,800. I was considering Eternal before I found this forum. They get (almost) all great review online, but they seem more "spa/beauty" focused, with a variety of teams and techs, so you don't really know who you're going to get (something I now understand the importance of--so thanks to everyone on these forums!).Pics.thumb.png.964e680e4b0a41e24cac9c50e495aa83.png

Both of these quotes were before I had hit 1 year of the min/fin. I think my hair might be a bit better now.

I'm leaning toward Dr. Bhumik Shah, as he seems very dedicated and handles the procedure 100% himself, start to finish.

Oh, here are links to the Drs. / facilities I mentioned in my post. I spoke with Dr. Shah directly and he would be my choice.

Keeps looks like they are working with Dr. Farhan Contractor, who I don't know anything about.

I'm not sure you NEED a HT. What are you trying to do? Add density to hairline or cover up balding area? Unless you are rich or looking for something specific, most options in US suck. There are way better options at much lower price if you are willing to travel.

Thank you for your reply! It's mostly my hairline that bothers me, especially the areas just to the left and right of center. In the harsh lighting pics you can see the hair is very thin there.

I'm wondering if anyone else has a thought on if a HT is needed at this point. I think the meds have helped a lot but the hairline still bothers me. So I guess the question is if I do something about it now to really feel good about it, or to go along semi-happy for years and see if the HT need becomes greater in the future.

Traveling would be tough for me at this point. I know Dr. Shah trained with Dr. Konior, and while his clinic is newer, I liked the look of his results and his approach when I spoke to him.
