Senior Member FinallyHT Posted July 13 Senior Member Share Posted July 13 I had a graft fall out a few days ago around the 7 month. It was clearly a graft. Small and with a curl at the end. I also have tiny hair stubs that look like grafts, still in my scalp. Maybe ten of them. But if they were grafts that had not fallen out, wouldn’t they have grown longer since they didn’t fall out? Or are they new hairs growing in? Age: 40 Hairloss began at age 23. Oral Finasteride 1mg daily since 2006, Topical Minoxidil since 2012. Hair transplant 3,400 grafts 2019. Second hair transplant 2,400 grafts in 2023.

It's more likely that you don't know what a follicle actually looks like. It's probably nothing to worry about, but perhaps consider sharing some clear, close-up photos if you're that concerned about it. And at 7 months, most people are still seeing lots of new growth. Unless you're in pain or notice bleeding or something severe, just let it do its thing. It's not always the healthiest idea to pay such close attention to every little detail during this phase. 🧑🏽⚕️ Help others by naming your clinic and surgeon, in your post title if possible. 💊 Help yourself by directing medical questions to medical professionals. Senior Member FinallyHT Posted August 28 Author Senior Member Share Posted August 28 I had my my 10 month check up. I was right. There was 4 grafts that my doctor had to pull out with tweezers. Apparently, sebum was stopping these grafts from falling out. Age: 40 Hairloss began at age 23. Oral Finasteride 1mg daily since 2006, Topical Minoxidil since 2012. Hair transplant 3,400 grafts 2019.
