Hair transplant fail?

Recommended Posts

Hey! I had a hair transplant in 2022 i was really happy with the process but over time its seems to have failed. I have been taking finasteride for years and never stopped. The area is still better than the beginning but the hair is thin and see through. I talked to the place i had it done and they recommend adding minoxidil but does anyone know of the side affects? Lastly i moved about 7 months ago and wondering about the water. My scalp is dry and wondering if this is contributing any help would be appreciated.

here is 7 month pics fuller thicker and today

Your Hair Transplant never failed, you just lost your non transplanted hair.

It seems Finasteride is not working for you, why not add dutasteride?

Minoxidil helps to thicken hair, the side effects from Minoxidil is basically dry scalp.

It does indeed look like progressive native hair loss…another procedure could potentially thicken the area up nicely…possibly add another 1500 grafts.
