Hello friends

I know I get questions all the time and maybe this is boring already, But can I ask you if it is safe to use a scalp massager with silicone teeth anymore

Today is the 60th day

Thanks 🙏

A riend of mine also had a hair transplant and the clinic advised him to wait 6 months so I am asking you when is it safe

Today the massager came and I have already used it, should I continue to use it?

Just to save you asking a load of questions in the future that amount to the same thing... Pretty much everything you can imagine is fine after 3 weeks post op: you can wear any type of hat, you can play contact sports, you can buzzcut your hair, you can bump your head against as many things as you like...

The only thing to be slightly careful of if your scalp is still red is sunburn (otherwise the redness can last longer that it otherwise would), but sunburn should be avoided regardless of whether you've had a HT.

The advice your friend was given is garbage. Ignore it and relax!

I’ve heard doctors say that after 7 days those grafts are anchored in and safe. Your scalp would still be pretty irritated post procedure so I don’t know how many guys are going to want to put a head massager to it that soon but yeah. @Berba11’s input is correct. Massage is excellent for blood flow anyway, blood flow is what you need for graft regrowth, so I don’t know why you wouldn’t be able to as long as your scalp is able to tolerate it.

I agree with the others. After the first couple of weeks you are fine.

I have the same massager, except mine is pink. 🩷

I use it while conditioning my hair in the shower, and I've been doing this since about 2 months post-op with absolutely no issues.
