brue
So im looking at all the clinics in turkey and trying to search for reviews and weed out the not so honest ones and man is it just so hard to do. You get your mind set on one place and then all of a sudden read some posts that say this is bad its a hair mill you will get screwed, etc etc... I would like to keep the price going above 5k. With that budget the places that I have in mind are FUEcapilar, Long Hair Center, Sule Hair, Serkan aygin, Vera clinic. My first question is there any one in this group thats way better than the rest? Also is there one in that group that should be avoided? Here are some of my pics, serkan quoted me 1800 graphs which seems reasonable but a couple of these other places recommended 2500-2800. Do i really need 2500-2800? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks! Senior Member ClaireB Posted June 12 Senior Member Share Posted June 12 Depending on your age and whether or not you're on medication to stabilize any further loss, I'd consider waiting on the transplant. Instead, consider talking to your doctor about starting medication to prevent any further loss. Ask about Finasteride and go from there. After a year or two, if the hair loss is stable, you'll be in an excellent position to have a transplant if you're still interested. You could even use that time to save up a bit of cash and see a top surgeon. That's my advice. 🧑🏽⚕️ Help others by naming your clinic and surgeon, in your post title if possible. 💊 Help yourself by directing medical questions to medical professionals. Regular Member CommonExpressions Posted June 13 Regular Member Share Posted June 13 I personally wouldn't do a transplant yet. Your hair still looks great. I would just consider taking medication if you are afraid it will continue. But if you, hypothetically did get a transplant, it would probably be around 1,500 grafts is my guess? Regular Member davidrotz Posted June 13 Regular Member Share Posted June 13 I agree with the other guys above. It's better to try some treatment before thinking of a ht.
Moderators Al - Moderator Posted June 17 Moderators Share Posted June 17 Some clinics in Turkey and surrounding areas like doing large sessions. With their low prices sometimes smaller sessions don't bring in enough money to cover their costs for the day especially the clinics who offer you free hotel stay and a driver, etc. This is something to be careful about because you have excellent hair and don't really need a hair transplant. You don't want to be talked into an aggressive low hairline with extreme forward temple points just so they can make their graft numbers. If you do anything at all it should be very minor. I personally wouldn't do anything if I were you. What country do you live in? If it requires travel to go to Turkey then it may be better to stay closer to home for a small procedure. That depends on where you are though. Al Forum Moderator (formerly BeHappy) I am a paid forum moderator for hairrestorationnetwork.com.
