Senior Member Eman Posted March 13, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted March 13, 2009 Doctor should remove and close the strip. Techs do the cutting of the grafts out of the strip under microscopes, monitored by the doctor. Recipient sites should be made by the doc. Placement of the grafts done by techs and/or doc, supervised closely by the doc. As you can see, it is a team process. My initial HT thread: done and done!! Check it out... Senior Member mmhce Posted March 14, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted March 14, 2009 What Eman and Leeson said are correct. The techs do the cutting up of the strip under 10X magnification or better and do the placement of the grafts under close doctor supervision. The doctor is the one who does the incision with the custom blades. take care...
