Regular Member duckling Posted May 27, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted May 27, 2023 great results especially for thin hair patient ! 1) was the patient on medication prior to surgery ? because his hair were very thin. and is he on any medication now. 2) did he request for upper vertex area to be covered ? because he seemed to have hair there ( with slightly thinning look yes)

The patient started oral finasteride 6 months before the surgery. Then, he continued using oral finasteride and he started using topical minoxidil, 2 months ago he switched to oral minoxidil. 2) did he request for upper vertex area to be covered ? because he seemed to have hair there ( with slightly thinning look yes) This was discussed with Dr Turan during the consultation, after the trichoscopical analysis, Dr Turan decided that there was space in between his native hair to increase density without risking any possible damage to his native hair. This is exactly why I booked with dr. Turan (April 2024). In the proposal he specifically states that he will not damage the existing hair; as someone with diffuse thinning it was of great importance for me.
