Kaio
Hello everyone, I want to share my FUE experience with HDC clinic, I was NW6, and while doing my research I encountered the clinic's coordinator @Doron Harati posts about his horrific experience in Turkey and his repair procedures with Dr. Maras at HDC clinic. his story touched my heart, he explained me a lot about the differences between pro level segment clinics vs cheap hair mills, he emphasized that it's important that a MD doctor will do the incisions and punch jobs, correct hair angles, single hair grafts over the hairline, etc. I was really convinced and referred to the clinic's office with Aviel that also helped me a lot, he explained me about my case and showed me good references for my potential due to my limited donor and thin hair, so Aviel suggested and arranged frontal consultation with Pantelis, it was important to have a reliable expectations without selling me broken promises that a procedure will turn me to James Dean. Pantelis was kind and straight forward and explained me about the limitations of my donor and aggressive hairloss, I was skeptical if I can be satisfied but I felt safe with Pantelis honesty. I arrived to Cyprus, Larnaca Airport and Janet the technician picked me, she was very kind to me and escort me to the clinic's accommodations. The day after I had my 1st day of surgery, I met before Dr. Maras before at HDC's offices to summarize everything, he explained everything with kind and patience, at first I wanted him to harvest more grafts and to fill the gaps in my hairline, but explained me it's better we'll do around 3500 to reserve my donor for the future and that there is no need to touch the hairline (looking back he was right and I'm happy I listened to him!). The clinic started the procedure, the anesthesia was a bit painful and I felt the anesthesiologist tried to be gentle as possible, they asked many times if I'm ok and really took care of me, the session was 2 days of surgery with Dr. Maras that paid me a lot of attention and care. As for my result, I was a late bloomer and around 7-9 months post I felt the growth kicking in with satisfaction . People don't recognize I had a procedure and I feel a lot of confidence with my Natural result! I want to thank both Doron and Aviel for guiding me to make this wise decision, for answering my questions and showing interest in my progression, to Janet and Christala the technicians for taking my grafts professionally, to the anesthesiologist for taking extra care for me and make me feel relaxed, and to the amazing humble Dr. Maras for the natural and far above expectations result, and for preserving my donor properly. I may not have the density of James Dean, BUT my hair looks natural with good coverage which was very important to me. Additionally I had iprf treatments and using topical Minoxidil Finasteride over my crown by HDC, never had a crown procedure before and I'm happy with the treatments result as well. 2

Senior Member Doron Harati Posted May 26 Senior Member Share Posted May 26 These photos are post 4 days surgey, washing the scabs away by our staff. The donor has been preserved because the punching was equally distributed over the donor with leaving healthy surrounding hair around every punch. Dr. Maras Explained the patient that he will not punch deep into the scalp to avoid trauma and scarring. These 3416 grafts were spread also equally over the recipient area with great density in order to cover more area. 1 Doron Harati - Patient Coordinator to HDC Hair Clinic, HT procedures are done by MD Doctors with Microscope FUE.
