This looks awesome, sorry to ask but had you had a transplant before? Or was this your first one. Density looks awesome especially given you have some pre-existing hair. Should get a cracking result here.

Thanks brother ....no need to be sorry for asking any questions my friend ...i never had a transplant before ...this was my first time...actually i planned to have a dense packing till mid scalp which i feel is important as that would be most noticeable to us and others and frames our face well....in 2nd session will do crown work and for that its fine if am short of donor hair and i get a bit of low to average density ..cause my height is good and crown area won't get expose that often and even i can use fibes on crown...so that was the thinking behind dense packing the frontal portion...😊

I think the logic  is that you don't want excessive bleeding during the procedure as it makes grafts difficult to position / more likely to pop out.

For that reason, most surgeons suggest stopping minox prior to surgery.

Yeh that is why it is advised to stop it before at least one week and than can start again after 1week post op..

Can I ask, why did you stop taking oral minoxidil 7 days prior to surgery?

Actually it is advised to stop minoxidil so that during HT there is no excess outflow of blood

Thanks for the response, I've got a HT coming up in June with Dr Path in bangkok so I'll stop taking my oral minoxidil a week before.

That is excellent density, this should likely be an amazing result

@Spring15 @TheGreatPretenderThanks ..i wish i get a dense outcome ..actually that was my plan ..i wanted to get my frontal area dense packed as that is more important for me..in 2nd session will go for crown though due to lack of donor grafts i have to settle for a low density over there but am fine with that..
