DHI MICRO SAPPHIRE - the combine method by Dr. Levent Acar from Cosmedica

Hi,
This Doctor offers a 'new' method that is based on combining both methods: micro sapphire FUE and DHI.

first, they create the tunnels for the grafts in the transplant area by micro sapphire blades (as any advanced FUE).

second, they transplant the graft inside the holes with a pen (Robopen they called it) more like DHI.

 

because it long process it usually caused the need to have a mega session (2 days of hair transplants) instead of 1 in standard FUE. 

and more expensive than the standard.  

 

On one side they claim to achieve the best success rate and the best natural like hair.

On another side, it seems they just combine buzzwords to catch customers.

 

what do you think? is it really worth it? does it really seem better than normal DHI or normal FUE?

Don't go on methods and all..tht is just marketing gimmick ....just look for the patient results and reviews of the particular doctor ...looks at the hairline design and look at the results of patients who have similar hairloss as yours .....both the thing you mentioned  is basically fue only but there is a difference in implantation method and evry surgeon prefers methods which they feel comfortable with...tools and methods are only worth if they are in better hands...and only results matter at the end.

-Look for results on public forums 

-Doctor's involvement in surgery

-Doctor's experience and reputation on public forums 

Imho the doctor you mentioned don't fit in the above mentioned criteria and you should look for an alternative...thts just my opinion and you can do your own research ...best of luck...

Bro avoid this clinic like the plague. Any clinic that advertises the tools its going to use should be avoided. Only the doctor matters, and it's binary -- either they're quality or not.

Nothing new here @Lior. It's FUE with a catch phrase. The experience of the surgeon and team are what creates great results!

from the community it has here (Israel), it seems as one of the most known and successful places in Turkey.

the reason I'm asking here is because the Israel community is very small and may be influenced by very aggressive marketing of this place.

from what i can see in Israel, the most known places is Dr. Levent Acar and Dr. Serkan Aygin.  

but this can easily be nonobjective, as it depends on the local advertising. 

what surprise me is that i didn't even see Dr. Serkan in https://www.best-hair-clinics.com/.

is this an objective site to check at?

seems you're new on your research, I HIGHLY recommend you'll do a detailed research about professional protocols such as FUE, the real matter here is who is your surgeon and not the method, additionally I reccomend you to understand the main differences between technicians hair mills that costs cheaper that do multiple procedures in a day vs segment of certified MDs surgeons that perform themselves the surgical procedures and do only 1-3 patients in a day.

You need to understand and learn the true meaning of professional Micrograph FUE protocol vs clinics that do whatever they want.

* This comment refers to the industry in general matter without criticism towards clinics that were mentioned in this thread.

Sapphire blades are nice for making the sites, but they likely aren't significantly better than single use metal ones. The difference is sapphire stays sharp longer and the tip is fewer atoms thick, making the cuts less damaging to the tissue and possibly decreasing healing time. Is this actually clinically significant? Probably not.
