Hi all. I appreciate the work you're all doing here. I came to this forum from Melvins Youtube videos. Apologies if I missed some details in the forum but in his videos he says to DM him to discuss HT and hair loss further. In the sea of nonsense out there I found this very reassuring

 I joined and attempted to send him a message but the system prevented any messages from being sent. Is there something I need to do? Id like to share my situation with him as a trusted source. This forum is excellent but I would like to start this process with him.

Melvin if you're reading this I would be happy to pay separately for your counsel. I'm sure you're inundated with these kinds of requests. 

Brief hx: 41yo m, 2 small HT over last 5years. One ~900 graft FUT by Dr Rose and another 1300 or so FUE by Dr Bared, both in Miami. Both basically worthless, results wise. I was on Fin for over a decade and kept my hair longer than any man if my family but developed symptoms and can no longer tolerate essentially any form of androgen blockers. Wish I could, taking a pill is much easier. Over the last 2-3y my hairloss has become rather bad. 

Ill take some current pics shortly but essentially Im at the stage where I need to determine if a large volume procedure 4-5k+ is possible and worth it, what reasonable expectations should be, or to just FUE into my FUT scar and buzz/shave and get on with life. Unfortunately I dont have a great head shape for shaved. So I'll have to work on the psychological aspects of accepting not having the aesthetic boost that hair gives. 

Anyways, I was hoping to start a discussion with Melvin if at all possible, based on his very helpful youtube posts.

I know you’re looking to speak directly to Melvin the moderator and it looks like he just responded and made the necessary change so you can PM him directly. I think you will find this community as a whole very helpful. Members here are genuine men (and some women) who’ve either underwent hair transplant surgery in order to restore their hair or are seeking non-surgical or surgical solutions to restore their hair.  I trust that in the midst of all the hype and marketing propaganda out there, that you’ll find solace, support and legitimate solutions that will truly help you here.
