Scabs aren’t coming off

I’m 10 days post op and I still have a lot of scabs on my scalp it seems like they aren’t coming off despite doing everything on the instructions I’m starting to panic about this because it will affect hair growth.
If I go back to the clinic I had surgery at can they remove the scabs for me?

What does your clinic say? In my instructions it said that if your scabs are not coming off and they are pretty hard, you should let low pressure water run over your recipient area for +-10 minutes for the scabs to soften. That helped me and then the scabs started flying.

Don't panic! Each clinic has its own set of (strict) rules, mine said 14 days and not 10, so you're still safe. Let the scabs soak, that should help

Contact your surgeon. Melvin has created an excellent video on this. I would be soaking your recipient area in baby shampoo and make a lather and let it soak in the scalp. Gently massage this area to encourage the grafts the come away.

I’m still trying to remove the scabs/crusts off my scalp and there are a few hairs coming out is this normal?

But yes some hairs will also come out whilst doing so, that’s normal and nothing to worry about. It’s the hair and not the graft.
