Regular Member wprevil Posted April 14, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted April 14, 2023 (edited) Hi everyone, A section of my scalp is turning grey and i really dont like it. Its bugging the hell out of me. I dont want to use any hair dyes that you get from pharmacies. That being the case, are there any present treatments that restore grey hair to its original color? Senior Member Britanium Posted April 14, 2023 Senior Member Share Posted April 14, 2023 Not possible unfortunately, once our hair loses it’s colour it actually becomes more transparent, it’s just appears varying shades of grey/white as less melanin is being produced. Valued Contributor Gatsby Posted April 14, 2023 Valued Contributor Share Posted April 14, 2023 There actually is work going on in regards to rejuvenating hair pigmentation at Oxford. Dr Sethi has an interest in this area also. 1 GATSBY 'UNPLUGGED!' 15,671 (3 surgeries) Grafts FUE+BHT Dr. Sethi Eugenix

It would be national news if they found a way to reverse greying. If you think there is money in finding a cure for balding, you could almost double it for a cure for greying. Stress has been found to accelerate greying; conversely, removing stress can help restore some of the pigment.

Senior Member mavigo Posted April 16, 2023 Senior Member Share Posted April 16, 2023 Yeah, I'm starting to get those too. On the bright side, lighter colored hair makes you look less bald especially if you have dark hair and lighter skin.
