Dr. Jean Devroye Posted April 11, 2023 Share Posted April 11, 2023 PATIENT'S DETAILS ✓ 24 years old, NW III, losing his hair since he was 17, with a hair loss history in his family (father and maternal grandfather, both NW III-IV). ✓ No medications. ✓ Medium caliber hair. ✓ Normal follicular units. ✓ Low % of hair in telogen phase. RECOMMENDED TREATMENT This 24-year-old patient wished to restore his temple corners, which were thinning since he was 17. Fortunately, no other areas of his scalp are affected by the loss; moreover, his family hair loss history shows limited loss as well, grade III-IV of the Norwood-Hamilton scale at the most. During our consultation we agreed upon performing a FUE procedure, consisting of approximately 2000 grafts in order to cover these areas with a high density. The patient eventually received 2101 FUE scalp grafts, in just one surgery day. You can appreciate below his evolution until one year and six months after the procedure. The patient is very satisfied with the results achieved.
