Do 100% of patients experience shock loss/shedding? Or is it possible for the transplanted shafts/follicles to grow and not fall out?

From the reesearch I have done over 90% or more patients should expect it, howeaver there seems to have been a small incidence of people being able to fully grow out their hair after the transplant without shedding it first. This seems to be rare as its mostly seen as the exception and not the rule.

So 90% of your research not actually 90% of patients? As I imagine there would need to be data to back up a statement like that right?

Yes, howeaver havent got the studies atm since I reesearched it on the fly.

I have seen incidences of people around forums and reddit that claimed that their hairs werent falling during their post op period, some of them even getting paranoid over the fact that their hairs werent shedding as they were supposed to. These were a very small number so I would count them as anecdotal cases since its possible that they shed it later after posting.

Most of the people from almost every single case though seem to point out that there is always shock loss which may extend to native hair if the grafts get implanted in between or near them. Howeaver I am curious aswell to see if there is any more in debt case of someone who had smooth sailing since day 1 and didnt shed a graft.
