Regular Member vosvos Posted March 26, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted March 26, 2023 (edited) Does the hair transplanted from the beard area to the scalp become soft and thin later? If so, why does this happen? does the skin area determine what properties the hair has to grow in it? Edited March 27, 2023 by vosvos

I wouldn't say thinner, but it does get softer and less kinky/wiry over time and it may grow longer and faster than it did on the beard. It takes several years for it to slowly transition.
