Dr. Jean Devroye
PATIENT'S DETAILS ✓ 33 years old ✓ No medications. RECOMMENDED TREATMENT This 33-year-old gentleman since always lacked beard hair, especially on his cheeks and chin. He therefore wished to recreate a natural-appearing and fairly dense beard shape. Because of budget reasons, we decided to split his beard restoration in two separated sittings, the second being performed one year after the first one. In this patient’s case I have used a mix of scalp and beard hair during the first sitting, while the second procedure was performed employing scalp hair exclusively (due to the patient’s weak beard donor area). The patient submitted his last set of photos two years after the second sitting and is very satisfied about the results achieved. Below, you can appreciate his transformation in detail. For those who are interested in further examples and knowing more about beard transplants and the technique/philosophy behind them, I recommend that you visit the presentations at the following links, where the topic has been extensively addressed : https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/49768-dr-jean-devroye-hts-clinic-1124-fue-beard-reconstruction https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/51466-dr-jean-devroye-hts-clinic-1011-fue-beard-to-beard-restoration/ https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/60394-dr-jean-devroye-hts-clinic-1523-fue-beard-to-beard-restoration/ SURGERIES DETAILS 1st surgery – August 2018 ✓ 1291 grafts ✓ Technique : FUE ✓ Donor area : Beard + scalp ✓ Recipient area : Beard ✓ FUE scoring and extractions executed with my WAW system , now widely used in the sphere of FUE.
