Senior Member Jotronic Posted August 5, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted August 5, 2009 This local to Vancouver patient come into our office in October, 2008. His goal was to have a new hairline established and for coverage across the top of his scalp. The desire was for a distinguished, mature appearance of which the patient is happy to say he has achieved. Regular Member spineguy1 Posted August 5, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted August 5, 2009 He certainly got a distinguished look. I think it's interesting how the hair that grew into his hairline actually has color in it, was the hair darker from the donor area or did this just occur for some genetic reason? Bill - Seemiller
It's amazing how hair can shave several years off a patient and make them appear much younger. I agree that the patient looks distinguished. Nicely done. Bill
Senior Member TC17 Posted April 18, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted April 18, 2010 This is a fantastic result. I'm surprised that there aren't more comments. Are there any immediate post op pics so that we can see graft placement?
Senior Member vincehair Posted April 18, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted April 18, 2010 Looks good, does he plan on filling in the crown area or is he not concerned about it? p.s. Ditching a pair of glasses ALWAY'S helps someone's looks
Senior Member Jotronic Posted April 19, 2010 Author Senior Member Share Posted April 19, 2010 TC17, No, no immediate post-op photos. Vince, He has no plans on filling the crown. The final result is satisfying enough so that he has moved on. Regarding the glasses, being a former eyeglass/contact lense wearer for 33 years I agree for the most part but some people look pretty good with glasses as long as the frame is stylish. Personally, I think the snazzy sport coat helps too The Truth is in The Results Dr. Victor Hasson and Dr. Jerry Wong are members of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians
Senior Member TC17 Posted April 19, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted April 19, 2010 In light of there not being any post op photos, do you have any idea as to this man's density in the hairline, midscalp, and crown? Also, could a very similar result being achieved on a NW 7 if 6,000 grafts were used?
