PANINE, MD | Chicago Hair Transplant Clinic - Vertex/Crown FUE Hair Transplant w/ 2,448 Grafts After 10 Days/1 Year

Recommended Posts

This 30-year-old was experiencing hair loss in the vertex/crown areas of his scalp.

We discussed his medical history and he outlined his goal, which was to add density to the back 1/2 of his scalp. Taking this into consideration, we discussed his options and settled on a surgical plan that would give him what he wanted.

A total of 2,448 grafts were added to his vertex and crown. These are his results on the day of his procedure, 10 days post-op and 1-year post-op. The patient is extremely happy with his results and is on Finasteride to try and control further hair loss.

Looks like 0.9mm the pictures are close-up. Most surgeons use between 0.8mm to 0.9mm, this patient looks to have thick hair, so using a small punch like a 0.8mm could lead to a lot of transection. There is a balance between the size of the punch and the transection rate.

@Dr. Vladimir Panine this is a fantastic result, the crown looks excellent great job 👏
