Rahal Hair Transplant Posted November 10, 2022 Share Posted November 10, 2022 (edited) Dear Forum Members, This patient had 2212 grafts (5669 hairs) via FUE hair transplant surgery with Dr. Rahal in September of 2019. He was 30 years of age at the time of his procedure and takes both finasteride and minoxidil. His family history includes a maternal side with the maximum level of baldness around a Norwood Class 4 and a paternal side with a maximum degree of hair loss around a Norwood class 6. Both finasteride and minoxidil seem to be helping him maintain his existing hair but the patient does have plenty of remaining donor hair in the event he wants or needs additional surgery. His hair count breakdown is below. 1 Haired FUs - 323 2 Haired FUs - 709 3 Haired FUs - 832 4 Haired FUs - 310 5 Haired FUs - 36 6 Haired FUs - 2 Total Grafts - 2212 Total Hairs - 5669 Note that the photo collage showcasing 4 photos were taken by the patient and sent in. We always try to present patient taken photos when we have them since they are always the most compelling and interesting for potential patients and forum members.
