is occasionally applying extra minxodil and finasteride bad?

my hair routine is

5% minoxidil in the morning with 1mg of oral finasteride 

5% minoxidil + 1mg topical finasteride in the evening

the way my routine works, my hair usually has enough product and looks good but there’s days when something comes up and i apply the evening session to make my hair look better (5% min + 1mg fin topical) around 5 hours earlier than my normal schedule, is this ok?

IMHO, its really not necessary…have you considered using any cosmetic hair products?

tbh i have experimented with things but i dont want to like clog my hair follicles by using too much different products and the topical meds being less effective? do you have any product suggestions though? for extra volume
