PANINE, MD | Chicago Hair Transplant Clinic | 2,800 Graft FUE Hair Transplant | 8 Month Post-Op

Recommended Posts

This 34-year-old gentleman had a hair loss pattern similar to a class 4v on the Hamilton Norwood hair loss scale.  His goal was to augment his hairline and add density to the frontal 1/2 of his scalp.

After establishing his medical history and understanding the progression of his hair loss, I diagnosed his condition as Androgenetic Alopecia (male pattern baldness), ruling out any other possible dermatological or medical conditions which can cause hair loss.

Taking his age and hair loss into consideration we discussed his options and came upon an agreement for what would suite his expectations. We agreed to a surgical plan that included reconstructing a hairline that would be suitable for him now and as he continued to age.  I planned the surgery accordingly.

A total of 2,800 grafts were used in the frontal 1/2 of his head. These are his results on the day of the procedure, a one-week post-op update, and 8 months post-op. The results will continue to improve over the next 6 months. The patient is extremely happy with his results at this point.
