The procedure was carried out using ancient plug technology. I do not think I need to point out the problems with the angulation, direction, size, etc. as it is painfully obvious what the problem was for this patient when he came to see us. Dr. Hasson counseled the patient in that the work could be reversed but it would not be immediate and it would not be in one session. Two sessions were performed to remove the grafts then a third visit for 3170 grafts was performed to rebuild a proper hairline that looks natural. The result is 15 months post-op. Words cannot describe how awful that first surgeons work was. Dr. Hasson did an amazing job in repairing the damage done and repairing this man's life. Very nice density as well! It was honestly difficult to look at these photos, especially knowing that this barbaric procedure was performed but 10 years ago. Congratulations to Dr. Hasson and the entire team for turning this patient's life around! Can I ask how the old "plugs" were removed? Is the patient at all limited in his hairstyle as a result of the earlier work, or is it simply no longer a concern? And was Dr. Hasson able to correct what I can only assume was bad scarring in the donor also? Great job presenting this case (as usual) Jotronic. If these grafts were to be FUE'd out then the hairs may be removed but much of the scar tissue would remain and said scar tissue would still be in the same place (below where the natural hairline should be placed by any competent HT doctor). One does not see many brow lift procedures as they are notoriously difficult for correcting hair restoration procedures gone bad. Dr. Hasson(un)fortunately has gotten all too proficient with performing these procedures. Yes, this patient has the freedom to literally style his hair any way he wishes. They made him look like a horror movie character. He looks pretty mean in that first photo, but that's understandable considering what he went through. How can stuff like this still be going on today and the clinics not shut down or jailed ? Not only is there NO cosmetic improvement, but they are actually DISFIGURING people and making them look 1000X WORSE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This patient is fortunate to have kept a lot of his native hairs and good donor supply. We're working on a similar pluggy repair but his donor is pretty much depleted.
