Not the cleanest work but nothing to worry at all. Probably a combination of factors i.e. losing more plasma, due to bigger incisions being used. 

 

Keep them moist while washing, just like Melvin mentioned in his video and they will fall of before day 14.

Thanks...... one or two scabs didn't want to depart so I let my body do the talking and left them well alone. Scabs were clearly ready to come off. Lessons learnt. I clearly juat wasn't confident enough in the washing phase.
