Where do you live and what do you like about it?

I thought I'd start a thread where we all say where we live (or where we grew up) and then say something positive about the area.  I live in rural Northeast Ohio. People here complain about the weather, but I like getting seasons and would much prefer a rough winter and a tolerable summer to the sweltering heat and humidity that many other places get.  I also like that a lot of the small towns out here are styled like New England - quaint, pleasant and enjoyable.  And the area is affordable.  I lived in Hawaii for several years - and while the experience was almost entirely positive - I quite like being back.
