Hair transplant FUT vs FUE physicians

I am 28 years and have started seing my hair thining. I wanted to know if anyone knows what the benefits are for FUE vs FUT when considering hair transplants and whether FUE is really worth the money.

 

Is it only to hide the scars? If so can you just hide the scars with the new translated hair? If yes, is FUE really worth double the price per graft?

 

The reason I am asking is that I am looking at some of the recommended hair transplant surgeons such as Bernstein and he charges $12 per graft for FUE. Is it worth the $12 compare to the $6 for FUT that he charges in the way it appears? Or is it that the surgery is just less painful and irritating?
