X-Offender
Hello guys. Long story short, I had a hair transplant about 5 and a half months ago. Everything has been going smoothly, and I even thought my hair growth was above average after 4 months in. However, since about a month ago, I have been noticing a lot of hair falling out. At a glance everything seems fine, but when I take a shower (basically every 2 days) I find at least about 50/60 hairs in my hand, maybe even more. And mainly from the receiving area. Is this normal? Has anybody experienced anything similar? I asked the clinic and they told me it was normal, and searching online I read that people usually shed 50-100 hairs every day. But considering my situation is post-transplant, it's starting to worry me. As I said, at a glance but also on closer inspection I do not notice any thinning in any areas, and everything seems to be going well. I have increased the dose of Finasteride from 3 times a week to every 2 days for the past couple of weeks, and I continue to use Minoxidil once in the evening only on the crown and mid-scalp. Any insights would be appreciated. Edited March 13, 2022 by X-Offender
