Claiming VAT (GST) For a Hair Transplant in India?

This is a bit of a curly one. I was wondering if anyone has been able to claim the 18% VAT on a hair transplant in India? This is usually done at the airport prior to departing back home overseas for non Indian residents? Many thanks in advance. ๐Ÿ‘

If you had a note from your doctor explaining the distress caused to you by hair loss, you may be able to avoid.

I heard this is the case in waiving the VAT in Belgium.

That will not work that way in Belgium, in Belgium is rule only if you get repair HT, then you can claim for VAT, otherwise no, cause all other cases, else repair HT are threated as esthetic surgery, and not essential.
