Dear members,

5 years ago( aged 23) i went to TR to get a hairtransplant, is was the worst dicision of my life. I had a HT without much research. I had fue for 1500 grafts, hairline and temples. The results looks awful. The clinic does not exist anymore.

1. Hailine is pluggy, unnatural, too low, hair direction is wrong,  i have ridges

2. Donor area was overharvasted, you can see lots of sars when shaving the hear

At this moment i dont care about the hair. I just want it to look natural again, even if it means do get laser hair removal. Please does anyone have any suggestion.

I don't use any medication for my hair.

btw the pictures are form 5 years after surgery.

You are not alone and you have come to the right place and their is a way out of this. One option could be to have a repair as you appear to still have a decent amount of native hair when I look at your shaved pics. You could consider Finasteride and have the grafts in the hairline and temples taken out and placed further back. Another option would be a repair where the grafts in the temples and hairline are removed and later on down the track you could have SMP and keep your hair buzzed. I was also butchered but with large ‘punch graft’ plugs many years ago when I was 18! It also left me with terrible scarring in the donor region. I had the plugs in the front hairline removed over several operations. I wore hair pieces for 25 years until finally I had SMP. Feel free to DM me if you like and I look forward to others to chime in. You have come to the right place.

As he says @Gatsby, here you can get advice from the most experienced members, this unfortunately is the consequence of making rash choices, without doing a lot of research, or when you are aware of going to a hair mill and thinking "ok, if I go wrong, I shave to zero ", wrong because even shaved often the signs are evident as in your case.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah im looking for a repair as a first choice. I already sent emails to dr Feriduni, Mwamba and Bisanga. No reply yet. Any other doctors you would recommend? I wil DM you

The three surgeons you mentioned are the best in the world at repairs in my honest opinion.

Yeah, unfortunately i have to learn this the hard way. Sometimes i don't even understand why i got a HT, my hair was looking good back then. Hopefully i can fix it with a good dr.

If you rely on one of the three, you will surely solve your problem, do you remember who the surgeon was (if there was) who was present in that clinic?

No unfotunately i have no idea who the doctor was. I will try to find out what the name of the clinic was. It was well organized, with English/german speaking staff. The 'doctor' only spoke turkish. If i find the name of the clinic/doctors name i will post it

Often these Turkish pseudo clinics, when they are revealed on the web, change their name, and open others with other names.

I feel for you, this is why the “ill just shave” if the hair transplant fails isn’t an option. Where do you live? We can recommend some doctors who can repair this.

@Melvin- ModeratorI think that the member @Razmi has already very clear ideas now, as he mentioned three surgeons who I consider to be among the best in the world.

The title is a bit confusing. Was it 5 hair transplants or just one hair transplant 5 years ago? If just one for 1500 grafts your donor looks like many more grafts were extracted. Nonetheless, you are here and have made a great decision to ask members of this forum for help. Ferudini, Bisanga, and Mwamba are fantastic at repairs and I think you couldn't go wrong with any of them. If finances aren't an issue and you want the best possible solution moving forward I would add Konior to this list as well.

Bosley 11-2016 FUE - 1,407 grafts

Dr. Diep 09-2017 FUE - 2,024 grafts

Dr. Konior 03-2020 FUE - 2,076 grafts

Dr. Konior 09-2021 FUE - 697 scalp to scalp, FUE - 716 beard to beard Total scalp FUE - 6,204 grafts

@Razmi sorry, can you clarify that those pics you provided of your shaved scalp were recent pics?

Yeah the pictures are recent, nearly 5 years after the HT
